THE LEBANESE BUSINESSMAN OF ITALIAN ORIGIN RECEIVED THE HIGH HONOR FOR HAVING CONTRIBUTED TO PROMOTING ITALY’S PRESTIGE IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT
The President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, on the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mogherini, after consulting the Council of the Order, granted the Lebanese entrepreneur Sami Bazzi the honor as Knight of the Order of the “Star of ‘Italy”.
Of Italian origins, Bazzi is the founder of Joint Projects Intl. Trading and Contracting Co., the world leader in high-end retail solutions with offices in Kuwait and UAE active in the Gulf area since 1991, which is behind the success of the most exclusive fashion brand for children. Sami Bazzi’s experience and entrepreneurial talent have earned Joint Projects the trust of over 60 high-end brands, mostly Italian, including Dolce & Gabbana Junior, Moschino, GF Ferré, Monnalisa, Alviero Martini, John Galliano, Billionaire, Bikkembergs, Byblos, Harmont & Blaine, Philipp Plein, Patrizia Pepe, Moncler, Missoni, Roccobarocco, Twin Sets, Hogan, Aigner, Lanvin, Gaultier Junior, Juicy Couture and many others. The company has also launched two exceptionally high-end boutiques, “Kid’s Puzzle” and “Little Angels”.
The second civil award of the State, the “Star of Italy” represents a particular certificate in favor of all those who, whether Italians abroad or foreigners, have acquired particular merits in promoting friendship and collaboration between Italy and others Countries and in promoting ties with Italy.
